SPIC MACAY is a voluntary movement that organises events (over 5000 annually)  to preserve and carry forward the rich cultural heritage of India .  It is to introduce and to know about classical music,dance, folk arts, crafts etc. in educational institutions throughout  the world.    The awareness of the rich cultural tapestry of the world is an important part of education - to highlight all that is abstract, subtle, inspiring and mystical in the world and in the self. Voluntary service (or Nishkam Seva) is a key aspect of this movement.
