Telescope (Geography Lab) : A telescope is an instrument that aids in the observation of remote objects by collecting electromagnetic radiation (such as visible light). The first known practical telescopes were invented in the Netherlands at the beginning of the 17th century, using glass lenses. The students got the opportunity to gaze the evening sky through the use of telescope. The professor from Ravishankar University,Raipur took initiative to acquint the students about the use of telescope. The students were thrilled to gaze the night sky, they also learnt the various position of the stars and other celestial bodies which cannot be seen through naked eye. In future also the Science and Geography Club will organize such practical events to create more interest among the students.
